Is it really bad that I’m female but prefer the ‘masculine office’? I think the wood makes it seem calming and less fussy than the girly office.

      Marianne,
I love the warmth of wood as well…you have to trust your gut when it comes to the design elements that you find comforting and calming to you. There are no rules to follow that say what appeals to one person or another. Design is very personal, and can truly reflect exactly what you want it to! If you find that you gravitate to the warm masculine “ralph lauren” looks…don’t fight it, embrace it! You will be happier being true to yourself!
